A graduate of Emerson College in Boston, Peri re-discovered her artist’s instincts on her lunch hour, when dragged into a bead and silver shop, by a friend. After stringing several pieces, Peri found she enjoyed the wire more than the beads, and began studying metal art at schools around Boston, including Stonybrook, North Bennett Street School, and Metalwerx School for Jewelry and Metal Arts, in Waltham. For a decade, Peri has honed her techniques in sterling, argentium, and gold, and makes her pieces, one at a time, in her studio, for Blue Gallery on Provincetown, Local Pottery in Norwell, and private client collections. You can also find Peri at the North River Arts Society Festivals, where she is a member. Peri sits on the Board of the Women’s Jewelry Association (WJA), Boston Chapter, and is a member of the Fundraising Committee at Metalwerx, where she is still an active community member. Peri also teaches jewelry arts at various arts centers on the south shore.
