Phil in his studio.

Provincetown's cool Atlantic water and warm summer sun inspire Phil to create distinctive works of glass art. Combining the techniques of fusing, raking, temperature manipulation and slumping, his pieces often produce an unpredictable flow that results in a unique design to capture light beautifully. With a concern for the environment, many of his pieces are made with recycled or reclaimed materials such a recycled bottles and glass, rocks and driftwood. Phil's early interest in glass began with a glass blowing class more than 10 years ago and has developed into a new passion for creating kiln formed pieces. Phil infuses the warmth and beautiful color palette of Cape Cod into his works, including votive candle holders, plates, and sculptures.
